I will be walking the Thames Bridge Trek in early September in aid of The Blurt Foundation. It is a 25km trek along the bridges of the Thames from Putney to Tower Bridge.
The Blurt Foundation are an amazing small charity that help people suffering from depression. They help support people who are suffering from depression as well as their family members by providing the friendship and peer support networks so people know that they are not alone. Depression, stress and anxiety can affect any one of us, it can be about worries with money, work, family and friends. Blurt also reaches out to help those suffering from PTSD, as well as men and women suffering from postnatal depression.
Depression does not discriminate, it can affect anyone at any time. We need to talk about it to cut the stigma attached to mental health that has been there in the past. With support from people like Blurt, it is manageable.
So please, donate what you can, however much or little. Every penny helps them provide people with support. Thank you!
