We air programmes in 10 different languages (English, Hindi, Chinese, Polish, Pashto, Bengali, Somali, Urdu, Punjabi and Gujarati) for the Asian and Ethnic Communities. Programme topics include: public health, education, law and accountancy. The project involves technical improvements, to enhance the output capacity and to reach an even wider community. Its constant focus is increasing the number of listeners and crossing cultural boundaries

It is an important free service for the local community, facilitating access to and understanding of issues including education and health, and allowing all to share and enjoy this benefit

Started 4 years ago the project continues to develop programmes to better reach our target audience. Our results are measured by the feedback from our 80 volunteers and through half yearly surveys, including talking to focus groups. This is further endorsed by our many partners in the public, private and voluntary sectors
