Cruse Bereavement Care exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone suffering bereavement caused by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss.
Cruse Birmingham provides one to one and group bereavement support for children and adults in the Birmingham area, as well as training and consultancy for organisations working with bereaved people.

On Saturday 6th May, myself and 3 Cruse colleagues will be taking part in Walking out of Darkness to raise money to enable the continuation of the AMAZING SERVICES Cruse Birmingham provide to people dealing with bereavement.
Cruse in Birmingham has been in existence since 1977 - they will be 40 this year!!
It costs Cruse in Birmingham between £220- £270 to support each bereaved person that accesses their services each year. That means Cruse Birmingham needs to find nearly £200,000 per year to maintain their range of services.
