Gerald and Mark Coteman will be taking part in the Virgin London Triathlon this year to raise vital funds to fight the worst effects of Pancreatic Cancer. The event on 27 July 2013 is set in London's Docklands Area and comprises a 750m swim, a 20km bike ride and a 5km run. The individual events are completed back to back and call for the ability to change disciplines quickly, all against a time target.
Why they need our serviceThe death rates from pancreatic cancer are appalling, we need more investment in research to improve diagnosis and treatment. Your support will also make a direct impact on patients and carers through our grants scheme.
Plan and expected resultsWe are aiming to raise at least £2500, which will be used to make grants, support clinical trials and directly benefit patients and families.
