Liberty is staffed by volunteers who freely give their time to help women and teens who may be in a pregnancy crisis, need post abortion support or have had baby loss. Obviously we are not all trained counsellors, but from admin volunteers to outreach workers, we work together to create a safe and none-judgemental environment where counselling can take place.
PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT REFER CLIENTS FOR TERMINATIONS.
Liberty not only offers professional counselling, but practical help too. If a young girl or woman wants to keep her baby but finds that she is financially unable to do so - We will offer to help in providing baby's first needs, clothes, cribs ect. We also provide a 'listening ear' whereby we send out a support worker to meet with them and help them through any other problems they may be having, such as having no one to go with them to hospital appointments ect. We would also cover the support worker's expenses in getting there - each situation would be different
