This year W Marsden Ltd. and a group of associates have decided to take part in The National 3 Peaks. The National Three Peaks Challenge involves climbing the three highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales, within 24 hours.
The total walking distance is 23 miles and the total ascent is 3064 metres. The total driving distance is 462 miles.
This is a serious and tough challenge which requires a good level of fitness, as well as plenty of grit and determination.
Our company as a whole have selected two local and very important cancer charity’s, The Aurora Well-being Centre Mexborough, and the Weston Park Cancer Charity.
I have decided to donate the money I raise to the Aurora Centre Mexborough. The Aurora Centre offer information, help and support for people that are affected by cancer along with families and friends who also may need support. Anyone diagnosed with cancer receives a free package of support, including access to our well-being programmes and holistic and beauty/hair treatments designed to help during their treatment and beyond.
