And I've only gone and done it! It was a gruelling 29hr and 9min walk of big hills, mud, blisters and even bigger hills! Got through the night with 2 other amazing competitors - we chatted and encouraged eachother all the way to the end!
An experience I'll never forget.
Thank you to all the supporters - it's means so much to me.
Big love.
I'm taking on the Isle of Wight!
The ultra challenge series is an event for those crazy people (and not so crazy people!). I've signed up to walk the coastal path of the Isle of Wight - all 106km of it. My goal is to finish in 30hrs and raise a whole lot of money for the York Down Syndrome Support Group.
We've only been living in York for just over a year and in that time YDSSG have been so welcoming and friendly. They offer so much for our children with DS and being a small charity, are always in need of financial aid.
They not only hold fun events for families but also support our children with their development - Chatterbox is a speech and language therapy group organised by YDSSG and runs every Friday with the amazing Kath! There's so much more the group would like to do but we need your help.
No matter the size of your donation, all of it will go to YDSSG!
106km. 30 hours. Wish me luck!
