Walking for FACES

One of the things that has helped me get through the lockdowns over the past 12 months has been getting out into the fresh air and walking, it’s been great for both my physical and mental well being. I’ve explored so much of the North Bedfordshire countryside around where I live, something I probably wouldn’t have done otherwise.

With lockdown easing up and us all soon being allowed out soon, I’ve decided to link what has become my regained passion for walking with a little bit of a personal challenge - a 35 mile walk between bpha’s new housing development at Weston Turville (Aylesbury), to the Bidwell West development at Houghton Regis and on to the Head Office at Bedford Heights.

I’ll be doing this to raise money for FACES (Family and Children’s Early-help Service) who provide so much valuable help and support to families, many of whom are bpha tenants. 

This will all take place on Saturday 24th April 2021.

I’ve set my target at £250 and would be grateful for any support you can give, no matter how small (or large 😉 ) your sponsorship, it will be gratefully received and will be going to a great cause.
