This event will walk from ALCS headquarters in Axminster to their beach hut in Lyme Regis. The route is approximately 7 miles long and will involve a climb to Trinity Hill, descent through the Pinetum in Uplyme and finish alongside the river Lim to the sea front.  There will be options for people to complete shorter sections of the walk where appropriate.

Axminster and Lyme Cancer support was set up in 2018 by Mary Kahn, following a diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer in 2017. Although there was some great support available online and further afield having a network of support locally was missing.ALCS offer a variety of services from creative activities, holistic therapies, relevant diet and lifestyle information, different exercise classes all for anyone affected by any cancer. They offer mutual support, helping people cope with the fear, anxiety, isolation, or stress that cancer can bring by providing a chance to unwind over a cup of tea. Clients can also book their Beach Hut in Lyme Regis to enjoy a restorative day by the sea.
