7 years ago (2018) there was no cancer support in West Dorset/East Devon to help people living with cancer, beyond cancer and their loved ones; So we set one up! We aim to help you take back control of your health and wellbeing.

There are a variety of services available from counselling, creative activities, holistic therapies, relevant diet and lifestyle information, different exercise classes, all for anyone affected by any cancer. We offer mutual support, helping people cope with the fear, anxiety, isolation or stress that cancer can bring by providing a chance to unwind over a cup of tea.

We are located nearly an hour away from any main hospital which makes it hard for those affected by cancer to access the support they need. Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support is able to provide that support, right here in the community.
