Team Fundraisers
Hi everyone. We are a group of students from the University of Bath (Group 14) who have been tasked with the goal of fundraising and gaining awareness for Mentoring Plus.
Mentoring Plus is a charity which supports young people aged 7-21 struggling with education, family, poverty or isolation by matching them 1 to 1 with trained volunteer mentors. Young people at risk of offending, school exclusion or emotional harm benefit from a listening ear, time to reflect and access to new activities and interests.
Young people value their community supporting them. Many teenagers struggle in the classroom or with friendships due to poorly met needs or difficulties at home.
We're fundraising to help young people in our community to reach their full potential, matching them with trained and supported community mentors for a year of weekly meetups, plus access to our inspiring programme of activities. Young people tell us they feel happier, more confident and positive about the fut.
