With the help of some volunteers from BT, work has already begun with internal decoration and improving storage conditions. We are now looking for more volunteers to help with repairs to roof guttering, the toilet facility and the vehicle parking area. If any local business can help provide the supplies and/or labour we would really appreciate it.

The team base/headquarters are in Sarn, Bridgend. The building is an old council repair yard, which is in need of some repair. The base is used for training and storing rescue equipment and is critical to team operations. There are quite a few tasks which need to be done immediately which is why this project is vital.

The repairs to the roof and parking area will help reduce standing water which is present after heavy rain. preventing it from entering the base through the main entrance.
