The AGM will take place in the newly built Newbiggin Maritime Centre from 6pm - 8pm on Thursday 20th October 2011 After the main business there will be poems and stories read out by WHAC's Creative Writing Group

It is important that the Annual General Meeting is accessible to as many people as possible; it gives them the opportunity to hear about the work the Centre has done and also how their participation has helped to shape future planning. Financial contributions would be used towards the cost of room hire, production of annual report, refreshments and website consultant.

As well as providing a report of the work carried out over the last year the event also gives us the opportunity to thank the staff and volunteers for their hard work throughout the year. The updated website will be more user friendly and have more information of past and current activities.
