Having never run before (apart from for a bus) this is going to be a massive challenge for me. I've set myself a few goals this year, a 5K obstacle run, a 10K run & the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride but this is my everest.
When I heard Hayley’s story (the lady I am raising money for) I was even more determined to go for it AND to do it dressed as “Wonder Woman” means even more. Hayley tragically lost her partner in 2017 due to heart failure & then last year found out she had ovarian cancer (which she is winning)!
The Riff Raff Society have responded to a funding request to send Hayley & her 2 young children to Lapland later this year.
As a mum of 2 myself I cannot imagine what Hayley has & is still going through and cannot wait to join an amazing group of “wonder women”, smash our fundraising target & smash through the finish line!
