Individuals can choose a department that best suits their needs and that will give them the best transferrable or industry related employment skills. We operate as close to a realistic work day as possible to ensure individuals are learning and appreciating work activities and practices to best prepare them for external employment.

Workwise is the ONLY specialist adult mental health training centre in Suffolk. We provide 'workbased training' activities across a range of departments to promote access to work and employability skills. Departments include: IT, administration, CAD, woodwork, corporate embroidery, sign making, CNC machining, engraving and glassware embellishment. We give people realistic employment training through social enterprise activites to better prepare them for volunteering or paid employment.

We help to progress over two-thirds of our clients into paid employment, volunteering or further education and training. For the remaining clients we help to maintain their mental wellbeing by providing meaningful activities in a supported environment, that not only supports the individual, but offers respite to carers and family members.
