Reading YMCA runs woodwork based sessions from school years 6-11 and for young people aged between 16-25 who live in our Supported Housing. We currently work with Cranbury College with pupils including those who are excluded or at risk of exclusion and who have been referred by their mainstream school for a short, time-limited period.

We are working with at risk young people who are the hard to reach, they require encouragement to improve their lifestlye and increase their motivation to be fully participating members of the community. To improve skills,raise sel-esteem and increase lifetime chances through employability. Reading YMCA works with young people from the School Year 6 through to 25 year olds that we offer Housing provision.

Increased motivation, self esteem, self confidence and learning new skills to increase lifetime chances.
