My lovely husband knows I am extremely scared of heights and has bought me a ticket to the do the world's largest and fastest zip wire over a Quarry. Cheers babe!
The only way I am getting in that harness is knowing that I am doing it to raise much needed funds for the charity that has helped my daughter Seren since she was born. Not only does it provide Seren with social opportunities and networks but it was there for me at diagnosis, linking me in with other parents. It's a wonderful member led charity providing much needed services for people with Down Syndrome and their families.
This target would help the charity tremendously including providing Speech and Language sessions! I will be doing the ZipWire in early October, it's all booked in!
