EMPOWERED
Fundraising for the youth based and led event "EMPOWERED" !! An engaging awards event to celebrate diverse talent from inner city Bristol in order to EMPOWER the youth of Bristol and acknowledge their talents and potential.
EMPOWERED will see local residents from Bristol nominate and celebrate talented young people through the following categories:
Education, Choices, Community, Sports, Enterprise, Arts (Performing, Literal and Visual), IT and Leadership.
EMPOWERED will also give:
· Inner City Young People – the opportunity to volunteer on the project to develop their workplace skills, gain work experience and even a qualification through the process
· Local Residents/Business – the opportunity to be part of acknowledging the talent that we have, and support them to progress further
The evening will consist of exciting performances, guest speakers, awards, food, music, stalls and much more. We want to make the event FREE for young people and local families to attend, so will appreciate your support to cover the cost! : )
