Good Companions aims to reduce isolation and loneliness amongst the growing elderly population in Clifton and the surrounding areas. We provide a volunteer Visiting Scheme, where a volunteer is matched with a service user and visits them in their own home on a regular basis for some companionship and support. We also run weekly Friendship Groups which offer an opportunity for citizens to come together for some social interaction. At the groups we have refreshments, raffles, quizzes and bingo.
