
The Go Digit All project is a community learning initative that targets socially excluded groups and encourages them to participate in the ICT generation, thus reducing the digital divide. We Work in communities developing ICT learning centres and training individuals to cascade their knowledge and work with other projects that engage socially excluded groups.
Why the community needs usThe Benefit to the community is that individuals have access to ICT resources free of charge, within their locality and are able to have access to the internet. In addition Go Digit All run a range of courses for unemployed persons and provide accreditation to level 2 in a range of subjects. There is also the option to volunteer with the organisation and improve work skills and experience the organisation runs a comprehensive placement programme in partnership with Job Centre Plus..
Our impact on the communityGo Digit All is an award winning initiative. The impact of the work of the company over 10 years has provided 307 individuals with volunteering opportunities and employment within the company. The amount of learners who have access to training is 3890. On a day to day basis our centre is used on average 40 times. We outreach to 57 locations within the UK and are currently developing a project in the Caribbean.
