Grantmaking is complex. Giving shouldn't be.

The demand for grant funding in the UK’s third sector has never been greater.

Giving by all UK foundations is worth over £8bn per year across multiple sectors and causes.

There are over 27,000 active grantmaking trusts and foundations in the UK. The number of grantmaking trusts and foundations in the UK recently hit an 8-year high.

Grantmakers want to fund worthy causes aligned to their funding objectives but struggle to engage high-quality applicants.

This journey is further complicated by outdated tools and processes, limited resources and ongoing pressures to deliver at pace and scale, making it equally challenging for grant seekers to secure invaluable funding.

Today’s changemakers need access to simple and streamlined funding processes. We provide tools, processes and expertise to shape, streamline and automate grantmaking at scale, shifting the focus onto measurable outcomes, driven by quantifiable data.

Our grantmaking process

Due Diligence.

Our due diligence process has been approved by HMRC and recently reviewed by PwC as part of our DCMS contract. Organisations complete the due diligence process online prior to applying for the grant, ensuring that applications only come from eligible groups. This process can take anywhere from 5 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the organisation type. Due diligence work is done at all points in the process, before funding, during funding and after funding.

Application Management

Our co -branded online application form will be developed in -line with your grant programme requirements. The online application solution has been developed and improved over the last five years, with applicants rating it’s ease as 4.89/5 during monitoring feedback.

Assessment Management

Our systems automatically score applications based on quantitative data in -line with criteria agreed with the funder. We can either score the qualitative data or leave this to be done by the funder. We can also filter through applications that have scored over a certain threshold if requested. Funding decisions can be made as a collective partnership or handled by the funder themselves

Fund Distribution

We handle fund disbursements, ensuring that organisations receive funding within two weeks of a funding decision. We also handle communications to organisations and notify them once funds have been deposited into their accounts. Organisations will be able to download reports through our systems on the funds they receive and it will be attributed to the funder. We can provide comprehensive data reporting which includes project summaries, beneficiary information, projected impact, and grant payment status.

Ready made CSR, Marketing and PR, Monitoring and Impact Reporting

We build impact reports from successful applicants and facilitate monitoring visits to give you peace of mind and evidence that your grant programme is making a difference. We work with partners to create grant holder packs to advise organisations how to publicly acknowledge their grant and thank the funder. We have received completed monitoring from 82% of grantees who have received a grant over one year ago. This is a high average for the sector.
