Community Youth Project aims to help and educate communities, especially young people, but not exclusively through leisure time activities. This is to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities, encouraging growth as individuals and members of society.

To enable young people and communities to develop personal and social skills and high aspirations. Involving all members of the community in democracy and decision making. Promote the social inclusion of everyone within the community. Engaging young people in new opportunities and challenging experiences. Encouraging the community to lead healthy life styles.

Providing a youth provision three nights a week during term time and five sessions a week during school holidays. The impact of offering a safe place for young people to go has consistently reduced Anti-Social Behaviour within the area. Working within the community to encourage and support residents to form new groups. E.g Events Committee, Parents and Toddlers, NEETS Job Club, Over 50's and Bingo. The impact of assisting the community has increased resident participation and self esteem.
