Our aim is to provide as many individuals as we can with ambition, determination and self motivation. Our key aims at the Groundfloor Project are to give everyone a chance at making something of them. Whether it is from setting up their own user group in the building to help their business get off the ground, a one off booking for a party, Volunteering opportunities, Refurbished computer equipment and services. Our ambition is to give the community the best start at low cost

Many volunteers have found their way back into work after volunteering here at the Salem Community Centre. We have won awards from BEST training for the Best volunteer provider and Employer of the year for more than one occasion under the New Deal partnership. We have taught people who have had low self esteem and no confidence in learning new skills. We have give them the confidence with guidance to show them that they can do anything they set their mind too.
