Grow Batheaston a community group is now entering its second year and currently converting to a charity.
Your support for our cause will help us to continue the work already started which is all about creating a more healthy, rewarding and sustainable way of life for our village and local area.
From promoting locally grown food to organising seed swaps and plant sales, from creating local meadow spaces and planting fruit, nut and native species trees, all our activities aim to strengthen community, create food security, increase biodiversity and promote sustainable living.
We have helped set up a children’s football scheme, walking football for the over 50's and an adults’ and young persons’ netball club. Other clubs include Hen, Bee and Wildlife! The group is also organising a series of 4 pop-up markets, will be organising the local Art Trail again in October, and are creating a community forest garden,
