Locally, Habitat NI's work is focused on building a shared future. Habitat's volunteer programmes target disadvantaged groups, increase employability, develop skills and provide opportunities for people of all ages to work together and build community capacity and confidence.
Why the community needs usHabitat NI works with other charities and communities to improve the quality of housing and community buildings for vulnerable groups in deprived areas. These partnerships are focused on reconciliation and building strong, vibrant communities. Habitat ReStore connects our local and global work. ReStore serves the local community by helping people improve their homes at low cost, it delivers training opportunities to increase employability and skills and raises funds to build hope and homes.
