
Headway East Northants provides a specialist service for people with Acquired Brain Injury ("ABI"). ABI is damage to the brain acquired after birth and usually affects cognitive, physical, emotional, social or independent functioning. It can be a result of traumatic brain injury (e.g. road traffic accident) or non traumatic brain injury (e.g. stroke, brain tumour). Headway East Northants provides information, signposting and support services for people with ABI, their families and carers.

Our impact on the communityHeadway East Northants supports it's clients to regain lost skills and learn new ones enabling them to move forward to achieve their best possible outcome. This may include independent living, volunteering, education and/or employmentWe provide opportunities to gain support from others and by doing so we help to address the individual emotional and social needs of our clients.We provide respite care for families and carers giving them time of their own whilst knowing their loved one is safe.
