The project has a community ethos with programmes that aim to develop a policy of hospitality & inclusivity to make a positive difference in the area by helping to build an all-age cohesive society. It offers training opportunities that foster positive interactions, develop skills to empower & equip volunteers, train young volunteers in leadership & skills that can help them access work, run programmes for young people & children, provides space for local groups to lead their own programmes.

The community will benefit as the link between adult and youth grows and negative attitudes & misunderstanding between them decrease and productive relationships emerge. As the young people's skills develop so would their relationship building, team work and understanding better how power and powerlessness works re solving problems peacefully. The area will benefit as these young people will be empowered to be agents of change in their community by getting involved in local civic activities.
