
HRARA represents interests of residents in Holbrooks, Coventry, including on the impact of the Arena regeneration development, to help ensure the community benefits from the multi-use Ricoh Arena. HRARA works to ensure the community has a voice in the operational management of the Ricoh Arena and future development of the Arena site through liasing with the Ricoh Arena Monitoring Group. The association provides information and represention on local and city wide issues and matters of interest.
Why the community needs usHRARA works both independantly and in partnership to: 1) identify and address local need in all areas of our community; 2) monitor both the impact of the Ricoh Arena on the residents of Holbrooks and the effectiveness of the venue's Green Travel Plan - including the major-event day residents parking scheme; 3) help give representation in relation to all aspects of the Ricoh Arena development; 4) help develop a mutually beneficial relationship between the Ricoh Arena and Holbrooks Residents.
Our impact on the communityHRARA members successfully proposed an additional area of Holbrooks be included in the Ricoh Arena Residents' Parking Scheme, as requested by residents. The parking scheme is considered the most important mechanism in protecting residents quality of life on major event days at the Ricoh Arena.HRARA made a successful Liveability Programme application for improvements to a neglected area of Holbrook Lane Local Shopping Centre. This project has benefited both local residents and businesses
