Juice Community Project supports Cadbury Heath locals with food, activities, and advice.
Juice Community Project is run to provide help and support for local residents of all ages in Cadbury Heath through difficult parts of their daily lives. Juice provides activities such as a food bank, older peoples activities ,support and advice ,family support and children's holiday activities.
We are also a community welcome space which includes providing a warm meal in the colder months and advice and guidance for local financial assistance and cost of living expenses.
As our centre is at the heart of the community we interact with local residents on a daily basis and because of our relationship with them they regularly tell us what activities they would like to see happen in the area. We also know through our interactions the issues that are affecting the area and its residents and so can obtain the right support for the area.
We aim to improve the quality of resident's everyday lives by assisting them in accessing the appropriate initiatives and services. To ensure that they have the appropriate knowledge to take advantage of the opportunities available and help them create new ones.
We recently have started a new project called bumps and babies which supports expecting and new parents. We have connected with a range of families through this project and have been asked to expand the project into a second location due to the success of it.
