Martial arts training has a lot of physical and psychological benefits that we want to help everybody gain and enjoy. This is achieved by the best teaching possible, which can only be done with proper equipment; safety mats, punch bags, focus mitts, gloves and shin guards etc. These things can be quite expensive but unfortunately not all of our students are able to afford their own gloves and gi (white suit), yet are very keen to learn karate.
The dojo pays for itself, evey penny made goes back in. We teach simply for the love of karate and passing on the skills and knowledge, we are not concerned with making money. The money we do make is out of necessity rather than luxury.We have worked out that to fully equip our dojo with good quality equipment we will need to rasie £1000.
