The Kingston Chinese Association (KCA) aims to meet the needs of its members and supporters through the provision of regular Educational and social activities. KCA's objectives are to promote Chinese Arts and Culture across the Royal Borough of Kingston (RBK) and neighbouring boroughs, and to encourage community cohesion.
Why the community needs usSince its inauguration in October 2003, KCA has made a significant contribution to the Borough of Kingston through the presentation of a number of educational and social activities, and collaborations with key community groups, organisation and statutory bodies.
Our impact on the communityWeekly at Milaap centre, KCA have arranged Chinese painting and calligraphy Classes, Chinese dancing classes for girls, Putonghua Classes, Chinese musical instruments classes, English language classes, Table Tennis and Mah-jong games for the elderly.Annually, KCA is going to organise the following activities in 2013:17/2- Chinese New Year celebration,28/4 - Day trip,14/7- Mah-jong Competition,18/8- BBQ day,25/8- Chinese Opera,1/9- Kingston Carnival,22/9- Mid-Autumn Karaoke Evening.
