We run a local youth group. We offer a place for the young people of our village and other local areas to meet to socialise and to have fun. We aim to give informal educational opportunities to our young people aged from year 5 ages 9 up to age 25 via activities and workshops to assist in developing life skills. We aim to provide some free workshops/activities to prevent exclusion. We run our club from 6 pm until 9.30 pm on a Wednesday evening. There are no other youth groups in Little Downham. Our young people find in difficult to travel to other clubs in the nearest town because the bus service is non existent in the evenings.

Our village young people need to meet regularly so that they are not creating lack of respect from our villagers. Our young people have over the 7 yrs that we have been running gained the respect of our older generation and the community needs this to continue for many years to come. We have made a difference to the ASB in the area and our beloved pavilion has not been damaged since we started to use it.

Many of our young people have trusted us to help them gain work as they leave us. One young man has now started a Graffiti company where he creates logos/pictures for friends and family and now he sprays racing cars. Only one example of the work we do.
