Our mission is 'To support a thriving and independent community and voluntary sector in Mansfield and District'. We help improve the quality of life of local people by assisting voluntary sector organisations, volunteers and community groups to contribute to the social, economic and community development of Mansfield.

We provide a range of services which include health and social care, a volunteer brokerage service where we recruit, support and place volunteers with local organisations, a bespoke training programme where training courses are designed to respond to local need, community and voluntary group development and support in local communities, developing and sustaining community partnerships to encourage, facilitate and enable community engagement within Mansfield

Last year we received 1034 enquiries from prospective volunteers, many of whom we helped find suitable volunteering placements in Mansfield. We manage Community House which is a central hub of advice, information, support and guidance for the community and voluntary sector in Mansfield. From here we deal with over 420 phone calls per month, plus many more in-person enquiries. Outreach sessions offered here include counselling, adult learning, return to work support and Foodbank services.
