Middlesbrough Roller Hockey Club provides training/coaching from aged 6 years to adults to people from the Middlesbrough/Tees Valley area. It provides the opportunity for team building, gender equality, communication skills, improving fitness, health and well being.
Why the community needs us
Gives children a focus and the chance to make new friends. We provide a safe environment for the children to train at our local sports centre. We give children a focus every weekend which stops them being tempted towards less desirable activities. Also gives them access to opportunities they would not necessarily get.
Our impact on the community
MRHC aims to breakdown the deprivation barrier by eliminating the initial outlay costs and providing all the required equipment to players on a loan basis, which includes expensive skates and protective knee and shin pads for players who decide to participate competitively in Roller hockey
