The Motor Project provides basic motor vehicle training to young people at risk of, or who have been excluded from school, and those who have left school and are N.E.E.T.S (Not in Education, Employment or Training). We also provide holiday activity sessions for all local school children by offering them go-karting and woodworking sessions.

With many young people in the area wanting motor vehicle skills, our project is the only one in the area that offers young people an opportunity to learn these skills. Since the project opened in 1999, we have seen many young people progress in further education or employment, thanks to the knowledge and skills gained whilst attending our project.

Students attending the Motor Project have the chance to complete a recognised qualification in motor vehicle studies, which can help them with future employment prospects or progression into further education.
