The Nettleham Woodland Trust has been involved in a number of planting projects at the Lincolnshire Police HQ and Bishops Meadow in Nettleham and in several local schools since 2006. Our main focus is the Ashing Lane Nature Reserve in Dunholme. We have 125 year management leases with the owners, the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and the Lincolnshire Co-operative for most of the woodland and the lake we have created. Since 2009 we have planted 25000 trees and shrubs, dug a lake, supplemented existing public access with new pathways and welcomed visitors to its open spaces. The increasingly varied flora and fauna have found their own way here.
Our priorities as a charity are the preservation, conservation and creation of woodland and associated outdoor spaces such as meadows and water features which are open to all members of the public
