NCP develops and provides play and activities for children and young people with disabilities in the North Liverpool area.Working throughout the school holidays we offer disabled children the chance to take part in play and leisure activities which stimulate, educate and more importantly are fun to do. We offer places for to up to 24 children per session, depending on the degree of support required, and ensure that everyone gets a chance to 'have a go'.

Why the community needs us

North City Play offers support to disabled children and young people to access play activities within North Liverpool. Play is vital to the development of social, physical, emotional, intellectual skills and psychological health & well being. For the children and young people who come to NCP the opportunity to continue to develop these skills is paramount. We offer this in tandem with providing much needed respite for families and carers

Our impact on the community

As a year round provision working during school holidays NCP offers families who have a disabled child the chance to have time for themselves or other family members while we take care of their disabled child in a safe, friendly place where they know they will be enjoying themselves. Our families find it difficult to do the everyday things we all take for granted. A trip to the shops or hairdressers, a bit of 'me' time. We give them this time as well as time for their children to enjoy playing.
