Northenden Players want to provide high quality theatre experience to local people at affordable prices. We also want to provide opportunity for people to get involved in all aspects of theatre, be it acting, backstage or front of house and hospitality. We welcome new members and provide training in all aspects of the work which can lead on to other life opportunities and build confidence.

Audience members get to see six shows a season with a varied selection from classic plays to more modern works. The standard of presentation is very high as we are regularly nominated in Greater Manchester Drama Federation and indeed win awards.

The old library building which is currently decommissioned will be brought back into public use as a theatre and bring cultural vibrancy to the high street.
