Nene Valley Community Action (NCVA) is a local charity based in Rushden. NVCA offers a wide range of services for older people, disabled people, carers and younger people. All of our opportunities and activities help to reduce social isolation, bring people and communities together and enhance people's self-esteem and confidence. We also offer support and development services to all of the charities and community groups across East Northants and Wellingborough.

We provide social outcomes for older people, disabled people and carers who will benefit from being socially included, more active and able to have a break from their caring role. We enable people who can easily become excluded to become included, meet friends, get involved and take an active role in their communities.

We run 'Chatterbox' groups across East Northants inviting older people to come together, meet new friends and take part in regular activities that help to prevent social isolation. Our IT training courses help to get older people connected to the internet in a safe and welcoming environment. They become connected to family and friends overseas, they can access online support services and learn how to safely shop online.
