Cricket for all ages from 6yrs onwards to help people in the local villages to Over train and play weekend and midweek youth cricket. We run 3 youth teams under 11 under 12 under 14 all play in a league within cambridgeshire on set evening during the summer months may to sep we have under 6/8 and 11 that we arrange friendly games for they all train on a saturday morning at Over community centre or Swaversey Village college on all weather pitches and on grass from May. We have had grants before

Over cricket needs to have a ground to play on and people to help run the club. We are all volunteers and give from just 2 hours now and then or more regularly helping out each weekend whether that be getting the teams out or driving some youth players to games working on the wicket helping the coaches do the youth coaching session. We serve people from the area around Swavesey Over we have a wide age range within the club as well as women and girls everyone is welcome

We have a number of player that have gone on to play for the county or district we funded some courses which a number of club members attended to teach them the skills and qualification needed to umpire building the confidence of youth members and allowing no playing members to still be involved in the club. We set up a midweek team in 2010 to allow those that were at college/uni or worked at weekends to play in the evening it was so successful in 2011 we started a 2nd team.
