PARCA aims to relieve poverty and distress among Refugee and Asylum of African origin in the Greater Peterborough area through advice, advocacy, representation, assistance with language barriers through free interpretation and translation services to help access to services needed to help integrate in the community. We also aim to provide recreational opportunities to the same service users to improve quality of life and reduce the impact of Isolation on our members.

Why the community needs us

Our benefit is to improve the condition of life for Refugees, Asylum Seekers and Eastern European now residing in Greater Peterborough and its surrounding areas. We also aim to support people from different nationalities, faith and communities to allow them to develop greater levels of understanding about the UK lifestyles. We encourge Diversity in the United Kingdom especially in Greater Peterborough.

Our impact on the community

The result and outcomes are: More people will integrate and undestanding of UK system. Able to speak English Language. Encourage Refugee, Asylum, BME and Migrant as well as local communities to participate in regular leisurly, recreational activities and social events for all age groups and abilities
