We offer: Coaching and competitive opportunities in basketball. Promote the club within the local community and nationally. Ensure a duty of care to all members of the club. To help improve the lives of others within the local community.Provide non-player opportunities for members. eg.Coaching/refereeing/table officiating/first aid courses/training.Provide mentoring for education/family/friendship issues Provide a safe, welcoming, positive, encouraging environment for players and non players.

Our community has received much negative press particulary since the summer of 2011. Young people in particular have been 'tarred with the same brush'. We operate in an area where young people have limited opportunities to prove themselves. We believe that engaged, motivated young people become engaged, motivated adults and this contributes to the wellbeing of the community. Our club unites neighbourhoods through our members and provides a positive focus for players and supporters alike.

The programme has already seen our U14's receive Bronze medals in their 1st season at National Basketball Finals last year. This year all three age groups have secured 1st and 2nd league positions and are heading for playoffs. Our developing players are also virtually undefeated in local league competition. 3 of our boys have secured places on Regional squads, and one has been selected for England U15 squad. Our membership has grown from six, just over 2 years ago to 65 today.
