At the Pakistan Welfare Association Slough, we are passionate about developing the skills of our local community and the young people we serve. We believe that everyone should have a voice in everything that affects them.We are an independent charity and a partner for local authority and the third sector delivering and supporting them in the development of innovative programmes for community cohesion.

The PWA works towards helping those in need both within and outside the Pakistani community. It provides a platform for the youth and adults in developing their individual life skills. Indeed, an important part of our vision is to create better understanding between different faiths and cultures.

PWA has organized and delivered three 10 weeks courses for people in the slough which attracted many hard to reach members of the community to enroll and develop skills.This has helped some of them to seek employment.There were 39 learners of which 10 have managed to gain employment as a result of the developing skills workshops.
