The club was formed in the mid 1950's to provide an outlet for the growing irish community to enable the community to continue enjoying the irish cultural pasttimes of Gaelic football and hurling. Over the years the club has evolved and now includes ladies teams and a large underage section. We aim to continue to raise funds to provide the necessary funds and kits and train coaches to allow future generations to enjoy playing Gaelic games within the local community

Why the community needs us
As an club we mainly support the local irish community with first second and third generation members. However, we now train in local primary and secondary schools and this has seen a noticeable increase in other ethnic background being introduced to and playing gaelic games

Our impact on the community
Our work in local schools and the community has increased the number of young people playing sports and improving their overall health. We have also provided a home away from home for many irish people moving into the area offering them a familiar surrounding with the culture and sports from home.
