Right now the local economy is having a tough time. We therefore need to rely more on support from your donations.

How You Help

Why is this necessary now? Over the last 14 years the station has been run mainly by volunteers many of whom are now getting older and either retiring or cutting back due to ill health. The commerical part of the operation can employ new staff to replace them but this takes funding away from the station's core costs. These costs include all the normal things that an organisation has like rent, upkeep and maintenance of our premises, utilites, some core staffing costs, but in addition has to run and maintain transmitters with all the equipement needed to broadcast plus licence fees for music and broadcasting. Near to £3000 each month will cover our major running costs.

How Much?

You can donate anything from £2 per month, when donating if you choose to add "gift aid" this won't cost any more but 25% will be added to the money we receive. If you donate £5 per month with gift aid we will receive £6.25.
