Football Club

Sherwood FC provides an opportunity for people from aged 5 to adult to play football in a safe supportive environment. Now one of Nottingham's largest clubs with 26 teams, the club also has a men's senior side, playing in the Sunday Combination. The club places an emphasis on having fun, developing skills and a sense of team-work above 'winning at all costs'. Sherwood FC is a Deaf-Friendly Football Club In 2010 the club was awarded English FA Charter Standard Development Club of the Year

Sherwood FC now runs teams for boys and girls from under 6s to adult. The club has well over 300 members and a core of dedicated volunteers. Playing for Sherwood FC is part of an healthy active lifestyle and helps to promote team-work, fair play and a sense of belonging. Children are welcomed into the club irrespective of natural ability. Every week of the football season hundreds of families from a wide catchment area come together under the banner of Sherwood FC
