The charity exists to offer practical and emotional support to people with complex support needs who can't or won't access mainstream support. This is done through outreach work with a high focus on building good quality relationships as a foundation for offering long-term intensive support. The Charity puts emphasis on working with the whole person and not just selected 'problems'.
Why the community needs usAs well as the benefit to the individuals we support we also bring benefit to the wider community by raising awareness of the issues around homelessness. We also facilitate community volunteers to get involved in supporting some of society's most vulnerable people.
Our impact on the communityWe work with individuals to a point at which they either no longer have complex support needs or are getting them sustainably met elsewhere. For many people this means living independently, with health/mental health needs being met, having or moving towards work, education or training and having a good network of personal relationships.
