Slough Museum is an Accredited local history Museum with a unique collection of over 6,000 objects and 5,000 photographs which tell the fascinating history of Slough.Our mission is to inspire, engage, and educate through imaginative and inclusive programming and displays exploring and celebrating Slough's past, present and future.

We encourage and support schools, children, young people, families, older people, and community groups to explore their individual and collective heritage through creative learning, with resources tailored to individual needs. In addition to caring for and making the collection accessible, Slough Museum continues to collect objects to ensure that the collection remains reflective of contemporary Slough and its diverse community.

Slough Museum plays an important role in bringing Slough's diverse community together to explore and learn about the town's collective heritage in a fun and inclusive way! Every year the museum reaches over 14,000 people through exhibitions, outreach, learning activities, workshops, and reminiscence sessions. The Museum is integral in inspiring and developing a sense and pride of place for local people.
