To provide high quality ski coaching/guidance as a means of providing greater independence and enjoyment for skiers with disabilities. We meet once a month at Southampton dry ski slope, where our disabled members get to ski (with the use of appropriate equipment), alongside other members & helpers. The Club also aims to develop the skiing knowledge and skills of all Club members with the help of BASI Qualified Ski Instructors, Ski Guides trained to SSCD levels (originally BSCD), and many others.

Why the community needs us

We aim to give the disabled residents of Hampshire and the surrounding areas the thrill of being able to ski. This brings both the tangible benefits of outdoor activity and the intangible benefit of improved self confidence and motivation.

Our impact on the community

Our members really look forward to their regular skiing sessions. The sense of achievement they get from having conquered the slope is plain to see and, we hope, stays with them throughout the rest of the day and beyond.
