To ensure equal opportunities/open access we run a Subsidy Fund where members can apply for a full or part bursary for fees, lessons, trips etc. It is vitally important to us that no-one should be excluded from any opportunity due to finance.

Stage2 (voted Best Cultural Thing in Birmingham '10) is committed to providing positive activities for all 200 members, encouraging them to be proactive/responsible citizens. 1/3 have a learning difficulty/challenge & we actively promote integration & nondiscrimination. Each term we engage with 500 parents/carers, 3,000 audience members, teachers & social workers to support/inspire local youths. The Subsidy Fund lets anyone join, letting us welcome kids from B'ham's many & varied communities.

Stage2 members achieve great things whilst in the company but also gain the skills and confidence to gain high level employment elsewhere (not just in the arts).
